Terms of Service
Last updated July 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Revix (the "Service"), operated by Oscar Estudillo Marín, NIF 24487442D, with address at Av. Madrid 50, 08028 Barcelona, Spain ("Revix", "we", "us").
By creating an account, connecting a repository, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Business Use Only
Revix is provided exclusively for use by businesses, professionals, and organizations acting within their trade, business, or profession. It is not offered or intended for consumers acting for personal, family, or household purposes.
By using the Service you represent that you are acting in a professional or business capacity. As a result, statutory consumer-protection rights that apply only to consumers (such as the 14-day withdrawal right under Spanish and EU consumer law) do not apply to your use of the Service.
3. Accounts and Registration
You create an account and authorize access to the Service by signing in through a supported identity provider (currently GitHub or Bitbucket). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials, tokens, or API keys used to access the Service, and for the actions of anyone you grant access to your workspace.
4. Access to Repositories and Integrations
The Service works by connecting to source-control providers (GitHub, Bitbucket) and, optionally, issue-tracking tools (Jira) that you authorize. You grant Revix the access scopes required to read repository content, pull requests, and related metadata solely to provide the Service to you.
You represent that you have the right to grant Revix access to the repositories and integrations you connect, and that doing so does not violate any agreement you have with a third party.
You may revoke access at any time through the relevant provider's settings or your Revix workspace settings. Revoking access may disable part or all of the Service.
5. Fees, Billing, and Free Trial
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis and renew automatically for successive periods of the same length, unless cancelled before the renewal date.
New workspaces may start with a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must add a payment method and select a paid plan to continue using the Service; access may otherwise be limited or suspended.
All billing is processed by Stripe. Revix does not receive or store your payment card details. You may cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Prices are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Tax treatment (including reverse-charge treatment for EU business customers with a valid VAT ID) is applied based on the billing information you provide.
We may change our prices or plans on reasonable prior notice. Changes will not apply to a billing period that has already started.
6. Intellectual Property
Revix and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, design, and underlying technology. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Revix's trademarks or branding.
You and your organization retain all rights to your source code, repositories, and any other content you connect to or submit through the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Revix a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and analyze Customer Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service for you.
7. AI-Generated Output and Third-Party AI Providers
Revix generates code review comments and analysis using large language models operated by third-party providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic. Relevant portions of your Customer Content (such as pull request diffs and repository context) are sent to these providers to generate output.
Revix does not store your raw source code at rest; it is retrieved from your connected source-control provider at analysis time and sent directly to the AI providers above. The AI-generated output, including review findings, summaries, and a per-repository knowledge summary used to improve the accuracy of future reviews, is retained for as long as the repository remains connected to your workspace. See our Privacy Policy for details on how AI providers handle this data.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any suggestion, finding, or comment produced by the Service before relying on it. Revix does not guarantee that the Service will detect any particular defect or issue in your code.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will use the other party's confidential information, including Customer Content, only as needed to perform under these Terms, and will protect it using no less care than it uses for its own confidential information of similar nature, and in any case reasonable care.
This obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes public without breach of these Terms, was already known to the receiving party without confidentiality restrictions, or must be disclosed by law, provided reasonable notice is given where legally permitted.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our reasonable control. Any specific uptime commitment must be agreed separately in writing.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or if required to comply with the law.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, confidentiality, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revix's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the fees paid by you to Revix in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury, or willful misconduct.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect, such as by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be submitted to the courts corresponding to the domicile of Revix in Spain, unless applicable mandatory law provides otherwise.
